Hi From Sweden - Gory-Glory - 10-04-2022 Hi !! I live in Sweden. I am 46 years old and I live in Malmö that is Swedens third biggest city that is connected with a bridge that is called Öresundsbron to Denmarks capital Copenhagen. Okey over again to me. Hobbies: My other interests are collecting actionfigures, boardgames, comics and movies Favoritefood: Hamburger, pizza, taco and KFC Favoritedrinks: Beer and light soda Pet: Norwegian Forest Cat I have liked videogames since year 1982 when I got a Luxor Videogame and had it for some years. Then I moved over to a Sharp MZ-721 homecomputer in the year 1986 and a year later in the year 1987 I got a MSX Spectravideo 728 homecomputer. In year 1989 I got a Nintendo NES and that was really happy for it and I got a few games and a Zapper Light Gun. 1992 it was time för Amiga 500 that was my best home computer, and I got a lot of games to it and Extradrive and other cool item for it. I still have it and it works fine. I have never had a C64. one year ago I bougt The C64 Mini with a joystick and 64 built in games. Anyway, I have wanted to have a C64 Breadbox. and when I saw a beige C64G that is Made in West Germany at Tradera, that is owned by eBay in Sweden, I wanted that, but i missed it. For a year ago I saw a dark C64G that is Made in West Germany with Datassette 1530, joysticks, games and so etc on a Swedish retrocomputer group on Facebook, I bougt it för 900 Swedish Kronor that is 90 US-Dollar plus postage and I bought it. I also wanted to have a beige C64G that is Made in China with PSU so I bought one for 1000 Swedish Kronor that is 100 US-Dollar. And it is my favorite C&¤ that Iuse when I play games. I have alos two C64C that are one fron Hong Kong and one fom West Germany. That' a fantastic collection you have there and sounds like you got some pretty good deals that started you off on your C64 adventures. Looks like you have a wide selection of classic computers and consoles; very nice. I have the Evercade, too, but I just don't play it enough. The main reason I bought it was because of the Intellivision collections they were going to release. But, I have to say, I wasn't all that impressed with their game choices. So, I'll just keep playing the games I like on my original console. Great to have you here! RE: Hi From Sweden - Gory-Glory - 10-04-2022 sysop >>> Thank you very much for the welcoming and that you like my collection. So cool that you also have Evercade. I have cartridge 01-22 and Arcade 1, 2, 4 I forgot to write that I also have Nintendo DS - EUR I shall search the forum for a trean to put up photos of my collection or I put up the photos in this tread. RE: Hi From Sweden - kodiak - 10-05-2022 I visited Malmo once, for a football match (UEFA Cup, approx 20 years ago). We stayed in Copenhagen but took the train across the sea on the matchday. The world was a saner place in those days! RE: Hi From Sweden - Gory-Glory - 10-05-2022 kodiak >>> So cool that you have been both in Copenhagen and Malmö. RE: Hi From Sweden - kodiak - 10-05-2022 Yeah, I liked them. Malmo seemed quiet compared to Copenhagen, but then again, I was only in Malmo during the evening. I also lived in Riga for 5 years until January this year. There is a ferry between Riga and Stockholm, so I always felt "close" to Sweden while living in Latvia. RE: Hi From Sweden - Gory-Glory - 10-06-2022 kodiak >>> Okey so you was only on the football match in Malmö. Nice that you have lived in Riga. Where do you live know? Before Latvia, I lived in the Republic of Ireland for 3 years, but other than that, it was always NI. For a time, before we left Latvia, I was considering moving to the Swedish mountains, for some serious peace and quiet! But family reasons and the military situation in eastern Europe made me want to go back to NI. |
